About

AWI CALL CENTER SOLUTIONS is a Philippine based Inbound Call Center Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company that utilizes College Educated English speaking Filipinos at a significantly lower expense that can be found in the United States.

AWI Call Center Solutions is up and running and taking inbound calls from the United States! We are the first call center BPO (business process outsourcing) in the province of Palawan and we currently have one contract involving communications! We are gearing up for more work in medical transcription, IT and general outsourced inbound call taking.

It has been almost a three month challenge for the licensing alone through the Filipino government. Licensing involves several agencies on the federal, city and barangay (equivalent to one of multiple communities within the city) which include the securities division, immigration, bureau of trade and industry, bureau of labor, bureau of internal revenue, social security, Philippine health, Mayors office, and city zoning and a sizable amount of cash in United States currency to prove your ability to stay in business.

The workforce in the Philippines consists of highly educated English speaking personnel that work at a fraction of the cost of the equivalent western employee. One of the leading reasons for choosing Palawan is due to the amount of colleges in Puerto Princesa city and the quality of graduates that are produced here as well as skilled and experienced personnel that can be hired on a per job basis.

One of the most interesting aspects of opening a call center here is that highly skilled Filipinos that have been contacting us from larger cities like manila and Cebu wanting jobs with our call center. After being trained in Palawan, they moved to and took jobs in call centers in larger cities and want to come home and be near loved ones. News travels fast in this country.

After spending time in manila, stepping off the plane here in Puerto Princesa city was refreshing. It is a city in the trees and is very beautiful. It is laced with Spanish history that dates back to the mid 1600"s. You have places like Honda bay, the underground river, El Nido marine reserve, Coron reefs, Tabon cave, white beach and many many diving spots. The people are friendly, helpful, very hard working and are always ready to invite a foreigner to have a cool drink. I think it was the right choice coming here.
